We've tallied them up: There are exactly 23 mountain passes that you can set out on with your racing bike from the Hotel Maria. There's the Lavazè Pass right in front of our hotel, or the Carezza Pass that will take you down into the Fassa Valley where you can enter the legendary Sella Ronda. But wherever you go, you'll always be able to enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful scenery – which is literally breathtaking. That's because these pass trails are long and steep. If you want to spare your calves and prefer an easier option: In the valley, you can cycle to Meran / Merano or Trento completely without an altitude differential – and thus start in March to build up your stamina for the coming season. Due to years of experience, we have rock-solid know-how when it comes to racing bikes. The guides at the Eggen Valley Bike School and your host, Christoph Kofler, can take you on guided tours several times a week.
